A small studio
that takes the
details seriously.
Propix is a graphic design and creative studio based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We design brand identities, logos, social media creatives, packaging, print work and invitations for businesses that want their design to look deliberate.

What we actually do
Propix works with businesses on the visual side of how they are seen. That covers the big, slow pieces (a logo, an identity system, a packaging range) and the fast, constant ones (this week's offer creative, the festival post, the brochure that has to go to press on Thursday).
Most of our work sits somewhere between those two. A school running admissions across print and Instagram. A jewellery brand shooting a new collection. A manufacturer who needs a catalogue that does not look like a photocopy. A family planning a wedding who want the invitation to feel like the event.
How we think about design
Good design gets attention. Better design gives people a reason to remember you. The difference is usually not talent. It is whether the design was made for a real place, in real conditions, with a real job to do.
So we start with the conditions. Where will this be seen: a shelf, a feed, a hoarding on Tonk Road, a phone screen at arm's length? What is competing with it? What does the person need to understand in the first second, and what can wait? Those answers shape the layout long before anyone picks a colour.
The other half of it is consistency. A single beautiful poster is easy. Forty pieces that still look like the same brand is the hard part, and it is the part that actually builds recognition. We design systems so the fortieth piece is as strong as the first.
How we work with clients
Propix is a small studio, which has an obvious consequence: you talk to the people doing the work. There is no account layer between the brief and the design, so feedback arrives intact and questions get answered the same day.
We prefer a short, honest brief over a long vague one. We will ask what the design is for, who has to approve it, when it has to go out and what it has to sit next to. Then we work in defined rounds rather than open-ended revisions, because unlimited rounds are how projects quietly die.
Engagements range from one logo to an ongoing monthly design load. We are happy with either, as long as the scope is clear before we start.
Why visual communication matters
Most buying decisions in India now start on a phone. Before anyone reads your pricing, talks to your sales team or walks into your showroom, they have already formed an opinion from a thumbnail. Design is not decoration at that point. It is the first argument you make.
That is as true for a school as for a jewellery brand. Parents compare institutions the same way shoppers compare products: quickly, visually, and on incomplete information. Design that looks considered signals a business that is considered.
What we hold to
Four principles that decide most arguments before they start.
Concept before craft
A well-made file with no idea behind it is still a waste of your money.
Systems over one-offs
We build rules, templates and libraries so your design keeps working without us in the room.
Print and pixels
We set up artwork for the press with the same care we give a 1080px square.
Say the honest thing
If a request will weaken the work, we will say so once, clearly, and then do what you decide.
Who we design for
Different industries, the same underlying problem: being understood quickly.
Pixie's note on briefs. The best brief we ever got was four lines long and included a photo of the shop taken at 6pm, so we could see the light. The worst was eleven pages and never said what the design was for.

your brief?
Tell us what you need designed, where it will be used and when you need it. We will come back with questions, a scope and a quote.
